Education

 My education started at ADRAO International School, Victoria Island, Lagos, went to Holy Child College, Obalende, Lagos, Girls Secondary Grammar School, South West, Ikoyi. For my A levels, I attended Methodist Girls High School, Yaba and then moved to the University of Lagos, Akoka. I also attended the Nigerian Institute of Journalism for a Postgraduate Diploma in 1992.

 

Media

I started my career in Journalism with Concord Press of Nigeria in 1992, over 28 years now. Other media houses that I have worked with include The Sun, National LIFE, Pioneer editor-in – chief of The Empress Magazine, Omega magazine based in the UK, The Anchor, Classique Magazine owned by late Mee Mofe Damijo, RMD’s first wife of the MEE and YOU TV Show . She was my mentor and I was her last Personal Assistant (P.A) before returning back to mainstream journalism.

At the moment, I am an Assistant Editor with The Nation Newspaper Coordinating The FLAIR Pullout. My duties include conducting interviews, writing Features stories, editing stories, coordinating a pullout and writing a Column called PILLOWTALK.

Publications

Conducted interviews and field research on selected female role models in Nigeria for a book titled, “ The hands that build Nigeria”, published by Fredrich Ebert Stiftung, a German Foundation working in Nigeria.

Nigerian Female role models published by Women’s Leadership Group (WLG) and supported by the African Women Development Fund. I have other publications in the works. These include compilations of the different Columns I have written over the years.

I am married with Four children.  Three girls and a boy.
